RESNET (Research Administrators Network)
Resnet is the forum for research administrators at Macquarie University to exchange information, give and receive advice, and generally debate matters of relevance to research administration.
Initially an initiative for and by divisional research administrators with support from the Division of Economics and Financial Studies, Macquarie University’s Research Office now provides the secretariat for Resnet, seeing it as an important means of strengthening the administrative support available to our researchers.
ResNet representatives are comprised of:
- Representatives from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) staff
- Divisional research administrators
- Divisional higher degree research administrators

Being a forum rather than a formal meeting, there is no formal agenda and no minutes are taken.
Both HDRO and the Research Office ensure that items covered are available on the DVC(R) website. Research Office items are also included in the monthly Research Office update, which is distributed to all ResNet members the same week as the forum.
