Macquarie University Research Strategic Plan 2009 - 2011
The Research Strategic Plan (PDF) (RSP) outlines the University-wide research goals and objectives which flow from the Vice-Chancellor's MQ@50 (PDF). The RSP explains the necessity of establishing a pervasive research culture at Macquarie; developing concentrations of research excellence; increasing the number of commencing and completing higher degree research candidates; using our research results for the benefit of Australian communities, and increasing the University's interaction with the international research community.
The University's definition of "Research Active" is included as an appendix to the RSP.
The RSP has an companion document, the Research Strategic Implementation Plan (PDF) (RSIP), which expands upon the goals and objectives outlined in the RSP.
