The Research Office, attached to the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), has the responsibility for the administrative support of all aspects of the University's research activities.

Macquarie University Research Fellowships Scheme - Now Open Macquarie University Logo

The main purpose of the Scheme is to provide support at a postdoctoral level, normally to researchers who are at the beginning of their research career. Applications will also be considered from researchers seeking to re-establish their research career following a career interruption. Up to 6 Fellowships will be offered.

Macquarie University Research Development Grants Scheme - Now Open Macquarie University Logo

The purpose of the Macquarie University Research Development scheme is to enable researchers to develop basic or strategic research projects into proposals for submission to the ARC Discovery-Projects or NHMRC Project Grants schemes, or to develop applied research projects into proposals for submission to the ARC Linkage Projects scheme.
