About us 

The focal purpose of the Contracts Team within the Research Office is to assist in advising and facilitating research at Macquarie University, within the framework provided in Macquarie University's policy statements.

The Contracts team provides advice on research-related contracts and agreements and will review, negotiate and organise the approval (signing) of research agreements relating to competitive grants, contract research and research activities (e.g. non-disclosure and materials transfer agreements). All research contracts are assessed by the Contracts team, which advises the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) on the purpose and value of the contract, possible risks to the university and, after negotiation (when required), makes a recommendation as to whether the contract should be signed.

The Contracts Team is headed by the Senior Contracts Officer, Ms Ann-Marie Caulfield and supported by the Contracts Officer, Ms Sarah Hogan. The team is completed by a Contracts Assistant, Ms Chris Rolinson and an IRIS Data Officer, Ms Tina Harrison-Greaves.
