Closing date: Friday 30th January 2009 5pm

Applications must be in the Research Office by the date and time above.

The Macquarie University Research Innovation Fund is designed to encourage the formation of new research groupings that pursue innovative, cooperative research directions in fields of recognised significance. The Fund also supports projects that represent a new research focus for established teams with proven track records of collaboration. The Fund seeks to foster research foci or concentrations, which are based on real collaboration between staff within or between Departments and/or Divisions. It is anticipated that the funding on offer will enable successful groups to establish/strengthen strong track records in their chosen areas of research, thereby enhancing future bids for major external competitive funding.

Support may be sought for research projects that develop a new research direction at Macquarie, or for projects that enhance/develop existing research projects so as to fully exploit their recognised potential.
