Macquarie University External Collaborative Grants Scheme

The External Collaborative Research Grants Scheme (MQECRG) is intended to support collaborative research projects between researchers and the research end-users – industry partners. Access to the Scheme is available to all Divisions and Departments, and most external agencies and institutions are potential collaborators in any proposed project. Under this Scheme, full-time academic members of staff at Macquarie University may seek support for collaborative research projects involving industry partners, (other than another members of the Unified National System [UNS]), who are prepared to provide at least a contribution matching to that which is being requested from the Scheme. The maximum amount that may be requested from the University is $50,000 and the Industry Partner must provide at least a matching amount in cash.

The DVC(R) requires successful applicants to submit a proposal to ARC Linkage-Projects or a similar collaborative scheme within the term of their MQ External Collaborative Research grant.

Applicants must familiarise themselves with the following:

Apple Macintosh users opening RTF files:
To help avoid formatting issues, save the RTF file to your desktop, open Microsoft Word, then go to 'File' and select 'Open'. In the pop up panel, make sure the dropdown option next to 'Show' is set to 'All Readable Documents'. Now you can select the RTF file and open it.
