Central Commencement Program (CCP)
The CCP is a compulsory activity for all research students. It is an introduction to the university, to research practice, and to the support mechanisms available to students. The program runs twice a year and is an opportunity to meet with other candidates and become oriented to the task of undertaking research. Key members of the university community attend the program and provide information essential for completion.
The presentations from the program are also available on-line via learn.mq.edu.au/pub/ROCP.

Candidates need to know about the university environment in which their research takes place. Ensure that your student knows that the CCP is a compulsory activity. The requirements for candidacy change from time to time and the CCP is the opportunity for the university to inform students about the current requirements and support.
